En Suite Bathroom Reno Week 5: Fall 2021 Jeffrey Court Renovation Challenge

I knew week 5 would be crazy busy…plus my laundry list of items to accomplish for week 5 were pretty ambitious! This is the final stretch ya’ll. This is where your votes are going to determine the winner of this challenge. Please, Please, Please, continue to VOTE daily! Click here to VOTE.

Here’s what I wanted to get done vs. what actually happened. I wanted to pour the shower pan, add the drain, add all of the shower plumbing/faucets, drywall the shower, finish my vanity, add my sinks and faucets, finish the wood accents for the walls and TILE for the shower! I did everything except for finishing the vanity, finishing the wood accent walls, and tiling the shower.

Week 6 will be almost impossible….ALMOST, but I WILL MAKE it to the finish line!

This week I will be finishing my vanity by adding my Shockley Sinkology sinks and Pfister Ashfield faucets, completing my bead board walls, tiling the shower walls and under the tub, caulking and painting walls and crown molding, adding my Hewn flooring, adding baseboards and door trim, adding my A-Street Prints Blooming Floral Darling Pink wall mural from Brewster Home Fashions, completing the plumbing for the tub, adding my Pfister Tisbury faucets, and placing my new gorgeous Loretta Freestanding tub from MTI Bath!

First let’s check out the final mood board…

A final look at what I am dreaming up in my bathroom reno…

The Shower …

This was a HUGE week for the shower. Mr. Tyrus from Tyrus Construction came down and poured my shower pan, installed the drain, and installed all of my Pfister Tenet shower faucets! I got the green board up in the shower and I also sealed the green board with the Mapei Aquaguard to protect from mold and water leaking etc.

Wood Accent Walls…

I decided on vertical shiplap behind the tub. I love how the vertical pattern draws your eyes up! I got 12 foot nickel gap shiplap boards from Home Depot and cut them down to 10 ft. Aren’t they gorgeous!

I also decided on bead board for the remaining walls! It is looking sooo pretty. I can’t wait to get it all painted.

Let’s Talk Changes…

The most noticeable structural changes this week were pouring the shower pan, completing drywall, and adding the wood accent walls. It’s starting to look like a real bathroom!

A BIG SHOUT OUT…

Last but not least, a special shout out to our renovation sponsors… Jeffrey Court, Frog Tape, and Wagner!

I HOPE YOU WILL CONTINUE TO FOLLOW ALONG WITH ME AND VOTE FOR ME AS I WRAP UP THE RENOVATION THIS SPACE!
